Piano & Voice

Ash has been teaching violin, viola, and piano since 2011.  They perform in the Chicago area, and currently perform with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and the Rockford Symphony.  They have a Master's Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's Degree form Wichita State University, both in violin performance. 

Dave's teaching career with PM started in 1999.  He fell in love with the piano at the age of seven and enjoys sharing his love of music with students of all ages.  Dave's education includes over 25 years of private study and specializes in many different styles including classical, jazz, pop, rock, and folk.

Dave has been teaching piano and organ lessons since he was 15 years old.  Aside from private lessons, he also teaches Kid Rock and Tot Rock classes through many of the park districts.  He is also the engineer at his own recording studio where he works with local bands.

John recently retired after 32 years as a high school band and orchestra director where is also taught piano, AP theory and jazz band.  He has a bachelors and masters degree in music education and is the president of the Illinois Chapter of Phi Beta Mu, an international organization that honors outstanding band directors.  He is a former member of the Fox Valley Concert Band and is currently the founder, musical arranger, and leader of the Chicago Tribute Anthology, a festival band that performs throughout the Midwest.  John can teach piano and any traditional band instrument but specializes in clarinet, saxophone and flute.

Kim has a Bachelor's degree in music from Valparaiso, and over 20 years of teaching experience.  She is currently a piano accompanist for Young Naperville Singers, which is a professional children's choir.

Louise has been teaching piano since 1997.  She began playing when she was 7 years old.  She has performed with jazz bands, was a church pianist, community chorus accompanist, and accompanies students at contest. Louise has a B.A. in Jazz Studies from Benedictine University. 

Patricia has been playing piano since she was six years old in Romania.  She has been teaching privately in the US since 2001.  She taught music theory and piano at the High School of Arts in Romania.  She has a bachelor of Music degree in Piano Teaching.
