The Silent Brass system from Yamaha combines one of the most natural feeling practice mutes on the market with the newly revised Personal Studio system for an unmatched playing experience that won’t upset the neighbors!
Plugging the Pickup Mute into the Personal Studio module allows you to hear yourself as if you didn’t have a practice mute in at all using Yamaha’s Brass Resonance Modeling ver.2.0. The Personal Studio module features two different reverb settings for simulating different venues, and also allows you to hear yourself from either the player’s perspective or from that of the audience. The Personal Studio also supports audio passthrough via an “Aux In” port so you can play along with your favorite recording or backing track, and a micro USB port to output your sound directly into a computer or smart device.
Package includes a Pickup Mute, Personal Studio (ver. STJ), earbud-style headphones, and a USB cable.
