Features:
The YHR-871D is Yamaha’s flagship Geyer wrap horn. Its large bore side (0.476” vs the standard 0.468”) helps provide a free-blowing feel while maintaining Yamaha’s impeccable consistency and intonation. A medium-throat yellow brass bell combined with the gold brass leadpipe and inner slide tubes make for a wonderfully warm sound without sacrificing the compact and focused tone Geyer wraps are known for. The 871 also features a hollow 4th valve rotor for increased responsiveness. Its left-hand ergonomics are exceptional due to the adjustability of the pinky hook and the most comfortable 4th valve lever on the market.
The 871D comes fitted with a Yamaha-style bell ring and a zippered flat-pack case that can be worn as a backpack.
